Sources of inspiration

Inspiration and creativity seems to overwhelm Ronny and me when we're brainstorming, and it's hard to snap out of it. Take for instance, our Pierat-shop. By now we have idea for an endless amount of designs, and I can hardly wait to sit down with my pen tablet and draw it all. Skulls, poo, rainbows, you name it! (^.^)

Talking about inspiration, nothing is better than following other travelling blogs, reading articles about expeditions and browsing for adventure-sites. It makes you wanna travel right away, and you can pick up many great tips and tricks for your trips. Like how to travel light, cheap, where, when and how.
One of our friends, Saskia, crossed Greenland by kite with two other girls. How cool is that? Last time she was home she showed us a movie from their expedition, and it got us all so excited we're near booking tickets for a Greenland-adventure (well...if we had the money, that is)!
Another gang of supercool Scandinavian girls are the Baffin Babes, spending 80 days in the arctic crossing Baffin Island. Sounds amazing! Cecilie Skog is also one of the norwegian pioneers when it comes to female adrenalinjunkies.
Personally, I love to read about strong, adventure-seeking girls doing expeditions and coming up with good concepts. The media tend to focus on girls being pretty and up to date in the newest fashion trends, and to be honest, that's really narrowing a person down to nothing.
It's so refreshing to see energy-popping girls exploring the world!

Of course, there tons of cool adventuring guys out there too. We have our own Lars Monsen, having an endless count of exciting expeditions on his rep. You gotta love pictures like this!

Now it's only a few ours at work, and then the weekend starts! I'm going to get the ankle x-rayed today, just to be sure I'm not limping around with a fracture or something worse. If it's only a strain, Ronny and I will be fooling around in the pool with kayaks this Sunday. Yayz!
