Ronny, Roar and I went to Dykkersport in Oslo, to indulge in the scuba gear-happiness. The boys have their own equipment, as I told you in last post. But for me, this was a whole new heaven.
The Pierat-trip is so huge, it have'nt really gotten to me yet. This day made it different. Suddenly, when I was trying on masks, fins and snorkels, I tuned in to a totally excited state of "hey-we're-leaving-really-really-soon-and-it'll-be-a-BLAST"-happiness! We were so stoked that the girl that worked there gave us her number and asked for us to contact her when we arrived to Mexico. She was going there to dive in February, and if we're lucky our route will match. Would be fun to hook up with other norwegian divers (^.^)
My Atomic mask. True love
I tried on a few different mask to find the perfect match. When it came to visibility, nothing beat the Atomic Frameless Clear Mask. I'm in love! It gave me the feeling of having panorama-vision, and I need that not to miss out any single little sea-creature on my way! The plan was to only buy a mask. Yeah right. I ended up with split swim fins (now I can easily keep up with you, Ronny) and a cute blue snorkel. Now I only need a wetsuit, and then I'm ready! Open Diver and Advanced Divers license is a must, Ronny has both already. Specialities like Wreck Diver and Deep Diver are also on the list. That'll be new for both of us!
Split Fins! They're awsomeness!
The food was a-okay, exept for the tofu dish I had. Being a veggie and all, I've never managed to adapt to the gooey taste of tofu. Maybe someone can convince me with a magical recipe some day? But I ended up nibbling at Ronnys food, which was de-lissssh!
All counting together, the day was superb in every way! Now we are giga-excited about leaving, and it's less than two months until we do!
Also, my boss - or not my boss, but the big big boss of the organization came to my office today.
Boss: "Hello adventuregirl!
Me: "uuhm...heellooo?"
Boss: "We have come to a few criterias regarding your vacation..."
Me: *oh nooooes, here comes trouble*
Boss: ..."you see, we have decided that we're having a gathering with dinner when you're back, and you have to show us a slideshow with pics from your trip!"
Me: *pheeeeeeew* OF COURSE!!! *smiling my jaw off*
Haha, talk about making me scared- and then laughing!
