Our celebration into the year of 2011

Happy Pierats

Happy 2011, everyone! What a way to start a new year of Pierat-adventuring! The water broke (he he..hehehehee), drag skiing, costumes, board games, crazy dogs and all you can ask for!

Oluf is so afraid of the fireworks, we decided to have the party up at the cabin. More peace and quiet in the mountains than down town, right?

We came Thursday, and the second Ronny turned on the water, we heard a big CRACK, SNAP, POP!

-And the faucet for the shower came flying like a projectile!

Ooooh noes! Due to the extreme cold the past months, the pipes had gone to the banana kingdom. They broke before we came there, because there was a layer of ice at the bathroom floor. The water tank had emptied itself, and luckily we had turned the water off last time we were there. Now we had a job to do before our friends came!

No big problem though; a pump housing was located just around the corner, and we could go and get water old fashion style. We definitely need a plummer this week, but the cabin coziness was not jeopardized from this (^.^)

 Soon our friends came, with the oh so cute girlfriend of Buddha, the Alaskan Husky Gaisa. She is cute overload! To our boys' frustration, she had just reached maturity (7 months), and suddenly became verrry interesting for the two furry ones! Poor Gaisa!

Now THIS is what it takes to have a perfect weekend! Drag skiing with awesome friends and supahh dogs!

The celebration went on like it always does: in costumes, playing jenga, Cluedo and Tullebukk!
