Pierats in norwegian

Hakuna Matata!

Hello fellas, how's life?

I'm seriously aching from snowboarding yesterday - feels both good and terrible, heh! (^.^)

So, I have been thinking the last days of what to do with Pierats.org. It's not that I don't enjoy the writing anymore, it's just that...I like to have a plan. And in my world, this plan is about future book writing. That's why I thought of making the blog entirely norwegian, just to be able to express myself with more broad despcriptions than when I'm writing in english. Sounds fair enough to me, and I was really sure on doing this, until I took a look at the website statistics.
Our main readers are from Norway, but from there the ranking goes like this:
  • USA
  • China
  • Germany
  • England
  • Netherlands
  • Russia
  • Romania
  • Canada
  • France
Can you believe it? The most read post is this one, and it makes me smile because it's about San Juan Del Sur, the place where we got our minds changed for ever. Sounds like a cliché yes, but it's oh so true!
Anyways, I like the thought of reaching out. Here in Norway, there is a hype on blogs with quite different content than pierats.org. Seriously, I tried to look up a few blogs about couples or girls who is into extreme sports, traveling, animals or just something different, but came up with only...one. She writes darn good, so I guess she counts for a million.

Gawd daaaiiim, I just spilled coffee all over my sweater - at work. Just to mention, my car Buffalo was completely covered in heavy snow from a roof avalanche this morning, I could not find the snow scrape and Oluf refused to poop. Am I cursed? Oh yes, I forgot. It's Monday! (>_<)

Oh, I just can't manage to stick to the subject, can I? An escape mechanism, maybe. BUT (heheheeh, I said butt...oh, i just did it again!), from now on, I think, the blog will be in norwegian. I know our readers are not so eager on the commenting part, but if you feel that the no-more-english-thingie is outrageous, holla at me! Or hey, start learning norwegian! It's really easy, I understood it already as a little girl! (^.^)

And YES, I almost forgot: In the next few days, pierats.org will have a completely new design, totally kawaii! I'm sitting with my pen tablet and I draw like crazy! And I also force myself into the xml-coding, gah! (o.0) Stay tuned for more pierat-funtime (said with the voice of  Ted Williams)!
